Team Rocket Roleplay [General Thread]

The partner thing was an option, not a requirement. At this point you're better off finding a reason to blow him off so you can get back in the story without someone weighing you down.

So what if this is how it plays out, upon returning to base the new recruits are reprimanded for undertaking such a risk in fighting three or four fully grown Gyarados. However, the collective group of executives and admins are also impressed with how everyone handled the situation and was able to make it through the eventful couple of days alive. So the collective determines that the teams already made have to receive extra attention from appointed executives. These executives would handle the missions given to the teams and those members would directly report to them. This is seen as both a sleight to the teams but could also work to their benefit since they get to more closely work under Team Rocket leadership. Also, the executives can send the teams on missions to help their own causes so it works to benefit both while allowing the executive collective to monitor everyone. Scarab and James, your characters who I believe are both a part of the Rocket leadership could become the handlers for the teams and effectively configure the teams as you please. This would get James's character unstuck from his situation with the partner Mina controls since he can now configure his own team and create his own missions. Scarab you could do the same and decide on what you want to do with a team. Otherwise you and James could lead the team since we don't have many active members in the RP right now but you guys can decide on that. Also, I believe one of the only ways we would have got out of the situation with the Gyarados alive would have been because of Queen's pokemon since they were of a much higher level than both mine and 8track's characters. So you can decide in game either to promote her or keep her under review. She can easily decide if she would even want a promotion from her current position in Team Rocket but these are all ideas. Mina would be in the hospital and unavailable to join a team at the moment but could always join one again later on. I think this is a pretty good idea but let me know what everyone thinks.

I just got James unstuck, but I really do like your ideas there Drew, and that's still a very strong possibility. I'm gonna review everyone's character sheets and see what I can come up with that'd work for all of us, try to shake up the status quo a bit for those guys. I'll let you guys know when I come up with something. In the meantime, let's get some interactions going, fight those Gyarados and get started again.

Okay, so I've actually got some news. First, there's going to be a new forum in the near future. It's likely that we'll end up going there when it comes. Second, Mina wants to resume/restart the roleplay over there when she gets internet, because she doesn't have that in her house right now, but should get it in the next month or so.

So basically, this thread might not get a whole lot more action, but I'd say you should probably remember your characters and their motivations for when Mina gets back. Till then, just keep an eye on the facebook page. I can also ask questions for you if you need.
