Just thought of something pretty cool. I'll post it in the character thread and everyone can comment what they think afterward. (One sort of mega-evolves with the stones causing temporary evolution, which causes several other Gyarados to rampage)

I have approved the idea of the angry Gyrados, though with them being aggressive Pokemon I don't think we need to say it is because of the stones (sorry, I think I missed that part in your message before). It could be a simple aggressive act because of so many humans in one place / gathered. I'm not going to reveal too much about the stones right now, but I will say that they are grass and Sun stones (in appearance) and would not have any effect on the Gyarados. I am fine with the idea of the battle though. I will set up a battle sequence if anyone wishes to do that (I'll look on my comp for the site name or we can use showdown and I'll battle with the Gyarados). As for taking away from the surprise, I have been trying to avoid that. I wanted to know everyone's thoughts on the matter, so I asked Drew to post it here. There are still plenty of surprises to come though  |

Right, so the stones are in the water, but they AREN'T the cause of the pokemon's rage, according to the moderator? Thank goodness we asked for the rest of the samples to be taken to the lab!

Yeah the stones did indeed just fall into the water, didn't actually affect the Gyarados

I've been checking every day, but I think at this point we're waiting to see if Mina is creating a battle list or not? We wouldn't want to leave them behind in the story.

I've admittedly been dragging my ass on a reply... I have been working and playing mover for the family but I've been around....
I'll get a post in now, though to be honest we really just need a response from Mina to get the fight started or to do anything else. Having like four posts of dialog while four Gyarados are just chilling doesn't seem believable...

Ah, okay. I'm planning on seeing this through to the end. If you frequent the facebook page, you'll see that I resigned as admin, but I do plan on keeping up with this. I'm having a lot of fun. Heck, it even opens up a new avenue with the story we've got going on. I've already laid the groundwork for a defection story.
My character is almost bored of Team Rocket. He's staying primarily for the good of his underlings, and the team that he works most closely with has been taken from him, sent on a mission that he doesn't know anything about. If they were to die, then he would have ample reason to defect, maybe actively oppose Team Rocket.
Not something that we need to do by any stretch of the imagination, and I'll talk to Mina about that if we decide to go that direction (mostly because we'll have to decide on a format where the bunch of you will be battling against my bugs at once, and I'll have to react to all of you guys). But I do think it could be a very cool storyline.

My character also has trepidation with the "New" Team Rocket, mostly because not everyone has given up the old ways of stealing pokemon and experimenting on them so if your character is like minded and the story does go this way then mine might just have to join you... |
