Novick stares at the trio of Gyarados staggering over him as the rain fell. Completely taken by the scene made up of intense weather and horrifying pokemon, Novick instinctively takes a step back and falls on the ground. His arms shake while propping up his body and his heart started to beat frantically. After a few seconds of internally panicking, Novick takes a deep breath and slowly picks himself up. After rationalizing the situation and seeing past the intimidating visuals, Novick reaches for his side pouch and takes out two pokeballs sending out Weavile and Sableye, who do their usual routines once being released.
Atop his head, Sableye grips Novicks hat firmly as he glares at the three Gyarados, while Weavile just scoffs at them with his arms folded. Novick looks back at Rizza with a serious expression "This is gonna be intense, Rizza. You're pokemon aren't strong enough to take these monsters on, not to mention the type differences. The smart move would be to take cover" He didn't feel good about telling Rizza to back off, but in his eyes all she stood to gain was to seriously hurt her pokemon if she fought. After giving his stern words of advice Novick looks down at Weavile who in turn sticks his tongue out at him. Giving him a death stare to tip Weavile off to be serious Novick gives his first command "Weavile use Swords Dance. We don't wanna hold anything back" He pets Sableye letting him know to be ready while Weavile does his ritualistic dance to get ready for the fight. As Weavile finishes the dance, Novick looks to Queen and begins to talk strategy "They look pretty strong" He begins, looking down at her Mawile "Between our pokemon, how do you wanna handle this?"

"Knock knock"the door sounds. "Ahh that must be the partner there" said Q. "I wonder if they'll be all pro rocket or radical extremist?", thought Q. "Either way I might as well get this over with and show this nub the reason I'm one of the best rockets here!, exclaimed Q. "Hmm I should make myself look as if I'm an exec and not a grunt" Q thought to himself.
Quickly Q finds an old rocket long sleeve shirt, a red beret, a black vest, and a white armband with the red team rocket R.
"Hmm...the pants and boots are alright for now but something is missing" though Q. "Oh yes my belt!" exclaimed Q. "Alright this is. let's do this" Q walked to door and opened it.
"What's up there? You must be my partner. I'm Team Rocket Executive Q. Don't ask me Whats my real name because that's classified and be glad you have me as a partner. Hahaha!" Q stated all as he examined the grunt's aura. "Hmm...interesting very interesting...this'll be good"

"Char let's start out with a smokescreen! Cover the area and hide in the smog."
The smokescreen would disorient the Gyarados and mask the locations of both Char and Scout. Since Scout was of low battle experience he would only provide support to Char but Drew couldn't have the Gyarados focus on his Hoothoot, Char would need to face the Gyarados almost the whole time. It was up to Drew to minimize the hits that Char would take.
Black smoke and ash spewed out of Char's mouth as he covered an area around he, Scout, and the Gyarados in a thick smokescreen. The Gyarados let out a booming roar in anger as it began to lose sight of its enemies.
Char would naturally be able to see through the smoke since he had trained under such conditions but Scout had the unique ability as a Hoothoot to see beyond any accuracy impairing obstacles such as smoke, this was referred to as "Keen Eye".
Drew pushed his senses into overdrive, focusing on his training with the dragon masters and observing the surrounding area through a "third eye". He now knew the approximate locations of his pokemon as they moved through the thick black smoke.
"Char let's weaken the Gyarados with a hit of Dragon Rage!"
A small blue and red flame formed within the swirling black smog. This was a move that took intense training against Claire's Dragonair to perfect. It didn't deal the most damage but it was a highly versatile move that invoked the power of a dragon to attack with a mystical fire so strong that any type weaknesses become null.
A plume of blue and red fire launched through the smokescreen, exploding in a bright combination of flames as it hit the Gyarados.
"Alright Char good work! Now then transition into an Air Slash and blow the smoke right toward the Gyarados! Scout, start to use Hypnosis and put the Gyarados to sleep!"
If all went well, the battle would be over as soon as the Gyarados went to sleep. Char would be able to send wave after wave of Dragon Rage and Air Slash until the Gyarados fainted and then Drew could run over and help the others. Drew turned slightly around to see Aqua standing on the tips of her feet and leaning to the side in order to get a glimpse of the battle.
"Soon you'll be able to help out, Aqua. Just need some training and you'll be fighting Gyarados no problem." Drew thought to himself.
Drew turned back to watch his pokemon fight the enraged Gyarados thrashing in the now violent waters. Char was finishing his Air Slash technique, the smoke propelled by powerful air to hit the Gyarados in the face, temporarily blinding him so that Scout could move in for a Hypnosis attack.
"Back in Kanto we never did this well," Drew thought, remembering the time he and Char, then a Charmeleon, had encountered a Gyardos on Route 12's boardwalk, "I promised to never let you get as hurt as that day, Char. The training we did back home in Blackthorn was to keep you from ever getting hurt like you did on that day ever again."

Racing toward the site of the battle being fought, James realized he might not make it there in time. There was only one person up ahead that could actually deal with the Gyarados in this situation, and even then, four at once? And in the rain? More than ever, he needed to get there. He needed to help this team that he'd never met. He didn't really know why, and he didn't have time to think on it now, but he really needed to get there to save them.
He reached back into his belt to grab the silver and black pokeball he always carried, but never used. This was the time. This would be the only way that he could help them. The only way for sure that he could make it in time. "Come on buddy, I know you're shy, and I know you're scared. Right now though? Right now I need your help."
